We all come to knew and love (or hate) her in the MTV-series The City. This socialite is very outspoken as well as on camera as in real life. I love Olivia Palermo's fashion style!
Why? Simple. She has a sort of preppy, chic style which is something I like to wear myself.
Sort of like Blair Waldorf only more fashion forward. Also I love how she mixes couture with budget, this wealthy fashionlista is spotted a lot of times wearing Zara or Topshop as well. Her main focus is shoes and bags, but she keeps her looks simple. She is not overstyled or wears too many jewellery. Her style secret is definitly: less is more.
The gilet and the belt are definitly my favorite, Olivia once said in an interview. You can mix and match them and easily turn a day look into a night look.
And did you see her appartment? I love her NY appartment as well. She has a vintage Hèrmes service tray (on the table) and I love the neutral color furniture. Did you notice the Audrey Hepburn picture near the window? And her fashion closet is to die for, wish I owned one like that!

We kennen haar allemaal als de bitch van MTV The City. Zoals we weten neemt miss Palermo geen blad voor de mond, maar is haar fashion stijl net zo uitgesproken?
Olivia's stijl is het beste te omschrijven als chic en netjes en kak (preppy). Ik vind haar stijl echt geweldig! Waarom? Haar stijl is eigenlijk heel simpel, vaak draagt ze een mooie jeans, top, blazer en torenhoge hakken. Ze weet een simpele look heel elegant te maken door een paar opvallende schoenen of een mooie tas erbij te dragen. Haar stijl spreekt me erg aan omdat het qua stijl erg in de buurt komt van wat ik graag draag. De socialite combineert de mooiste haute couture kledingstukken met budget! Regelmatig wordt ze gespot met kleding of schoenen van de Zara of Topshop. Toch best leuk dat ze dat doet, ondanks dat ze bakken vol geld heeft. Haar favoriete stijl items zijn het 'heren' gilet en de taille riem. Je kunt ze overal mee combineren, zei Olivia recentelijk in een interview. En gelijk heeft ze!
En natuurlijk heb je vast wel eens haar appartement zien langskomen in The City.
Ook hieruit blijkt dat Miss Palermo goede smaak heeft. En wat dacht je van haar inloopkast! Hij is niet zo heel groot (maar ja, het is dan ook een appartement) maar wel vol met hebbedingen! Zucht, geef mij ook zo'n kast....
